Today I pre-ordered from BigBadToyStore the City Commander Trailer Set. It’s a fan made add on to Classics Ultra Magnus (white Prime Repaint) that turns int a trailer for him in vehicle mode and then armor that gives him a more Generation 1 look in robot mode. At 75 bucks I can’t really complain considering it’s limited to 2000 peices.

I’ve added 2 pages (for each season of Animated) with list of episodes and a link to the full episode host at Veoh.
Transformers Animated, the latest incarnation of Transformers have revived the “spark” of this long time Transformers fan. About two years ago was my first revival with the classics line. Classics was killed as a line and will be later revived as Universe again. The time in between was filled with the movie toys, something I wasn’t too enthusiastic about. This year the Transformers fan in me has been revived with Transformers Animated.
I’m really enjoying the cartoon and find it leaps and bounds better than the past 3 series that make up the Unicron Trilogy. At first I was on the fence about the new character designs and the whole “animated” look but I must say they have grown on me and I’m really all for it now.
My biggest complaint over this line is the lack of toys. The cartoon will be out for a good 6 months now and still no toys to support it. Usually its the cartoon that supports the toys. What I managed to do is pre-order all of wave one from HasbroToyShop.Com. I took advantage of their special 10% off and free standard shipping offer which means I saved a good chunk for an order that large. The down side is that standard shipping to Hawaii will take forever. I probably won’t see the toys till the end of July or early August.

Yep it’s me again jump-starting my once dead blog. New life has been breathed into my Transformer addiction in the form of Transformers Animated. The cartoon and toys are a lot better than I expected and now this blog has a reason to live again.
